Mleczarnia actually consists of three parts and every single one is amazing. They have the regular pub with a nice interior just behind the corner of the famous New Square, a great summer garden located nearby in the middle of the courtyard where Spielberg filmed his amazing movie - Schindler’s List, and, what I like best, a hidden café at the bottom of the Centre of Jewish Culture, connected with the roof garden. You get the best panorama of the whole Kazimierz neighborhood from there and the best part is that so few tourists know about it. We are going there at the end of our food tour to have a piece of a nut cake which is a local speciality and to say goodbye in a Polish way - meaning having together a shot of popular bizon vodka. If you are fan of strong liquors and vodkas Mleczarnia is an ideal place for you - besides zubrowka (bizon vodka) they have a good selection of flavored Soplica Vodka, make sure to try the cherry one (and to order a taxi home in advance as Polish vodka is strong and if you drink with locals you will not win the competitions).
I love this place It’s my fav in Kraków. With old photographs on the walls delicate lighting and jazz music in the background. Have a glass of wine and a coffee and just detach for a moment from everything.
What an amazing find - loved this place as soon as we walked in the door, great cake, lovely coffee, chatty locals and friendly staff!
