Oh. Yes.
Visiting Morskie Oko wasn't in our plans at all but thankfully we did. It was late night and the restaurant was full, but we got a nice and big table downstairs and got served pretty quickly. We had pieroghi (one with pork and the other with lamb) and it was just the most incredible thing ever. Service was great and there was live traditional music that added a nice tone to it. We definitely have to repeat this.
Would give 4.5 stars if that was an option. Definitely an amazing restaurant in Krakow. We shared a spinach pierogi which was so well seasoned and great portion size.
I had the chicken skewers with boiled potatoes which was delicious, I could not fault the flavour. My partner had the chicken with mushroom sauce with potatoes - he said it was nice but he has had better sauce.
The main issue we had was that they charge the sides as extra but do not make it obvious that you will be charged (the family next to us had the same confusion) they make it seem as though these come with the dish and you must choose one (perhaps a language barrier??) This wasn’t a big problem (hence why ideally I would only take half a star) as the sides were delicious and fair-large servings but definitely something they could improve/make more clear to guests. Aside from that, service was fantastic. We would definitely return again.
My wife and I had dinner this evening at Morskie Oko and I’m pleased to say we had a very pleasant experience the food was outstanding with service to match, the restaurant was very busy but nothing was compromised a must go to restaurant when visiting Kraków.
it’s my second time here. very nice restaurant, excellent food and service. the staff is very friendly and helpful. I totally recommend this place for an unique traditional polish meal
Bardzo ciekawa góralska restauracja w samym centrum Krakowa, przyjazna atmosfera i pyszne pierogi, szczególnie z borówkami i bobem! Polecam, a my na pewno wrócimy :-)
Great food large doses, the decoration is awesome. The seats in the back were very hot in this season, not good for summer time. The staff was nice.
Absolutely amazing experience. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Unassuming from the outside, but it's 3 stories of awesome. We were seated downstairs, with live music... magic. Veal fillet with mushroom and beef goulash pancakes were the best dishes, but everything was great. The traditional decor is just beautiful.
Bardzo smacznie i super obsługa!
Trochę turystycznie i przez to trochę drożej. Żurek trochę słaby w kwasie i porcja dodatków ( kluski śląskie 7zl) mogła być większa! Super!
